Six months ago, I was happy. I was simply Naomi Carradine.
One month ago, I was admitted into a psych ward.
Yesterday, Lachlan visited me. Kissed me. And told me that I’m starting to lose my mind.
Hours later, Max haunted my thoughts, reminding me I’m not crazy and that he needs my help.
A few minutes ago, I drifted further from reality, trying to unravel the past.
And now…everyone thinks I’m insane. But, I know he’s real, and I know he needs me.
Do you believe me?
Gorgeous cover and mysterious blurb? I am intrigued…
This book was frustrating. There were parts I liked and disliked, but nothing stood out for good or bad.
What I liked:
- This book kept me guessing until the end. I don’t know if this happened to most readers, but I’m kind of dumb okay? I usually don’t see twists coming lol.
- The writing style was easy to read.
- Unreliable narrator! One of my weaknesses.
While the romance was really heavy in this story, I don’t think I was the target for it.
There were pages were too much was going on, to the point I wasn’t sure about anything (and not in a good way) and then there were parts where nothing happened, to the point I put it down to read something else.
It’s best to go into this without knowing anything. But overall…
