My Firsts Ten ARC Reviews

A weekly meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s topic is… (First Ten) Books I Reviewed

I started seriously writing reviews way back in 2015. I remember when I got my very first ARC book. Finding my first 10 reviews would have been a bit more difficult because I started reviewing on Goodreads, but I do have an arc shelf, so here are the first 10 ARCs I ever reviewed.

#1- Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon
#2- Tonight the Streets Are Ours by Leila Sales

#3- The One Thing by Marci Lyn Curtis
#4- Illuminae (The Illuminae Files #1) by Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff

#5- What’s Broken Between Us by Alexis Bass
#6- Walk on Earth a Stranger (The Gold Seer Trilogy #1) by Rae Carson

#7- What We Saw by Aaron Hartzler
#8- Until We Meet Again by Renee Collins

#9- The Scorpion Rules by Erin Bow
#10- Infini (Aerial Ethereal #2) by Krista & Becca Ritchie

  1. DANNNGGG, I didn’t realize it’s been that long since ‘Tonight the Streets Are Ours’ I’m sitting here in complete confusion cos I honestly thought it was a year ago max, oops! Haha, thanks for sharing!

  2. I read Illuminae, but realized I never reviewed it. Oops.

That’s the only book on your list I’ve ever reviewed. I know for me, most of the first ARCs I got to review weren’t very publicized books.

    1. I remember I was really excited for Illuminae, it was my first “big” ARC… too bad I didn’t like it πŸ˜‚

    1. Doing normal book reviews would have taken too long to do! I started writing reviews soooo long ago (they were like one sentence, but still!) πŸ˜€

    1. Lol I was selective at first… not so much anymore. I’ll request anything that looks interesting now πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

    1. Ooooh The Secret Life of Bees has been on my list for forever! Maybe one day I’ll get to it πŸ˜‚

  3. Do you think you’ll still be writing reviews four years from now? It’s fun to look back at what people wrote when they first began.

    My TTT.

    1. I hope so! I think it’s fun and a great way to talk to other about books. πŸ˜€ I’d like to think I’ll be doing this for a whiles longer

    1. What We Saw deserves more recognition! It’s an amazing book, I try to hype it up every chance I get πŸ™‚

    1. You should give Yoon a try! Personally I liked The Sun is Also a Star more. πŸ™‚ And agggg I still need to get to Lady Midnight! I have the whole series on my shelf but haven’t gotten around to them yet.

  4. I was pleasantly surprised by “Everything, Everything,” and have heard amazing things about ‘Scorpion.’ Fun way to spin the topic this week; happy Top Ten Tuesday!! πŸ™‚

    1. Well I hope you have better luck with Scorpion, I was not a fan πŸ˜‚ Thanks for reading πŸ˜€
