Ten Great Audiobooks

A weekly meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s topic is… Audio Freebie (Any audio goes: audiobooks, music, podcasts, you name it.)

These are a few audiobooks I’ve listened to recently and really liked. 🙂

#1- Shades of Wicked by Jeaniene Frost
#2- The Cruel Prince by Holly Black

#3- On the Come Up by Angie Thomas
#4- The Lightning-Struck Heart by TJ Klune

#5- The Diviners by Libba Bray
#6- Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

#7- What If It’s Us by Becky Albertalli, Adam Silvera
#8- The Darkest Star by Jennifer L. Armentrout

#9- Bloodlines by Richelle Mead
#10- Heartless by Marissa Meyer

Have you listened to any of these audios? Do you have any recommendations for me? I have a lot of unused credits and I listen to them during work… Recommendations please!

    1. Same! I had read most of these before and decided to check them out in my library, for some of them the audiobook was even better 😀

    1. I just push through! Sometimes I have no problem with the narrators, and sometimes it takes a little time to get used to it. But I’ve definitely had audiobooks that right away I know I’ll never get used to the narrator no matter how much I like the story. 🙂

    1. My one little criticism for Six of Crows is that there were 6 different narrators and they their own unique voice for other characters. It could get a bit confusing if you’re not paying attention. It wasn’t too bad for me, but I’ve seen others mention it. Thanks for reading! 😀

  1. Ooooo, I feel like Heartless would be really good in Audio format. I’ve been looking for Audio books to try, since I’ve only just finished my first audio book. Speaking of… Have you listened to the Illuminae audio book?? I highly recommend it! It was awesome!
    Happy Reading (and Listening!) ❤

    1. I haven’t! I wasn’t a big fan of the ebook, maybe listening would be better? I have heard positive things about the audiobook too… Maybe I’ll check it out from my library. Thanks! 🙂

    1. That’s funny, I never listened to them before. But then I realized my library had a really great collection, and there was no harm in checking them out and returning them if I didn’t like it. But now I’m obsessed! I hope you find some you can enjoy, they’re fun 🙂
