I felt kind of bad for making this list. Like I loved the books when I first read them, but not enough to reread them lmao.

1. What We Saw by Aaron Hartzler – The only reason I probably will never reread this is because it’s such a painful read. It’s impossible to read this and not get angry at the world.
2. Dangerous Girls by Abigail Haas – The ending of this book took me completely by surprise, 18 year old me was shook. But since this is a mystery/thriller I see no point in rereading when I know the ending.

3. Queens of Geek by Jen Wilde – This book was cute and fluffy af. But I don’t I’ll ever reread it.
4. Alice (The Chronicles of Alice #1) by Christina Henry – This book managed to keep my attention throughout, but it’s really dark. I don’t see myself reading this again.

5. Magic to the Bone (Allie Beckstrom #1) by Devon Monk – This was a really great urban fantasy series, but considering there are 9 books in the series, I doubt I’ll reread them because who has the time?
6. Anna and the French Kiss (Anna and the French Kiss #1) by Stephanie Perkins – Present me is judging past me for loving this as much as I did all those years ago lol.

7. Where She Went (If I Stay #2) by Gayle Forman – I still think it’s weird that this book in the series made me so much more emotional than the first one. But yeah, this book made me so emotional, I don’t have it in me to read it again.
8. Tash Hearts Tolstoy by Kathryn Ormsbee – I adore YA contemporary books. Which means I’m always reading new ones with no time in rereading old ones unless it’s an absolute favorite. I really liked this, but I probably won’t reread it.

9. My Lady Jane (The Lady Janies #1) by Cynthia Hand, Brodi Ashton, Jodi Meadows – I love this book so much. But I don’t think I’d enjoy it as much the second time around. Make sense?
10. Wallbanger (Cocktail #1) by Alice Clayton – I thought this was really funny the first time I read it. And I’ve noticed that books rarely make me laugh the second time around. So I want to remember this as a book that made me laugh out loud.
What are some book you will never reread? Should I reread any of the ones I posted?
I’ve honestly never heard of any of these books, but it’s a good list of books for me to try! Thanks for sharing!

I loved My Lady Jane, but I may want to reread on audiobook – I bet it could be a lot of fun! 🙂

I didn’t put Anna and the French Kiss on my list but I totally wouldn’t re-read it either. There was so much petty drama that was so annoying but I guess there were a few scenes I thought were cute since I really liked it at the time!

I feel the same way about re-reading mystery/thrillers, you already know how it ends! I do have Dangerous Girls on my TBR though and I’ve heard tons of great things! I also really loved Queens of Geek, Alice, and My Lady Jane although I could see myself re-reading them someday.
Great list! 🙂

Thank you!! 😊 I loved Dangerous Girls. Especially since I don’t read a lot of thrillers so I’m easily surprised. 😂

I haven’t read any of these books yet but Anna and the French Kiss and Queens of Geek are definitely on my TBR. I so want to read them.
I can’t re-read books. Whenever I think of re-reading anything, my horrible TBR comes to my mind 😀 So I twisted my today’s topic.

There are two types of readers: ones who love to reread and ones who don’t 😂😂 personally I love rereading books, my TBR hates me 😂

Great list! Anna was also on my list for this week as I’m pretty sure that I won’t love it nearly as much as I did now.

Thank you! I know I wouldn’t like Anna a second time around, so there’s no point in reading it ☺️

Yeah I have to admit, Dangerous Girls is probably one of my few exceptions to, “If I really love a book, I’ll want to reread it”, you just can’t reread it knowing the end-though I have to admit, I’m almost tempted to go back through it now I know the end and see if the author dropped any clues!

That’s a good idea!! I remember being so shocked at the ending, I would hate to ruin that feeling by rereading it 😂

I was too-and that’s totally fair enough!

Where She Went is on my list this week also, but because I felt like it ruined the magic of the first one by existing.

That’s interesting! To me it was better than the first 😂 but I can see why you’d think the first one should stand on its own 😊

Interesting. You liked these, but didn’t love them? Not enough there?

Dangerous Girls is a great book, but you’re right, no point in rereading it when you know that ending!

I didn’t love MY LADY JANE the first time around. I might be the only one though. I wasn’t emotional at all for IF I STAY, which made me think I might be a robot. But I have heard from other people that WHERE SHE WENT is better and more emotional, so I’ve been contemplating trying it.
Nice list!!!

I probably won’t read My Lady Jane again -even though it was great. But Anna and the French Kiss is still a frequent reread for me

Exactly! 😂 I loved it with all my heart, but I don’t think I’ll get the same feeling from it if I read it again.
