A weekly meme hosted by The Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s topic is… Books I Really Liked but Can’t Remember Anything/Much About
All this list made me want to do is reread at least half of these books and I have no time. *cries*

1. Scarlet (Scarlet #1) by A.C. Gaughen – Unpopular opinion time, but I’m not the biggest fantasy fan. BUT! I remember loving this series. All I remember is that it’s a Robin Hood retelling, and Will Scarlet is a girl.
2. Sins & Needles (The Artists Trilogy #1) by Karina Halle – I remember thinking this was such a unique romance. It was one of the first times I’d read a romance with an “unlikable” female MC. Unfortunately, I don’t remember a lot of the details.

3. Love Me Never (Lovely Vicious #1) by Sara Wolf – I remember there was an escort in this series. That’s it.
4. Unravel (Fairfax #1) by Calia Read – I loved this book when I first read it. I remember the big reveal at the end, but a lot of the minor details are lost in my brain.

5. Broken (Redemption #1) by Lauren Layne – This was the first Lauren Layne book I’d ever read. And I gave it 5 stars. I don’t remember sh*t unfortunately lol.
6. Puddle Jumping (Puddle Jumping #1) by Amber L. Johnson – I remember thinking this was such a sweet romance. And I got really excited when I saw that there was going to be a second book. But it’s been a few years so I doubt that’s happening.

7. The Iron King (The Iron Fey #1) by Julie Kagawa – The only thing I remember is the love triangle, and that her brother was kidnapped (but that’s like the first thing that happens so I don’t think it counts). 😦
8. Pivot Point (Pivot Point #1) by Kasie West – I remember how pissed I was at the ending of book 1. And I remember how much I envied the MCs power to see the outcome of every decision she made.

9. Anna Dressed in Blood (Anna #1) by Kendare Blake – 16-year-old me loved this book. I remember the bittersweet ending and how much it resembled Supernatural but other than that… *shrug*
10. Lost & Found (Lost & Found #1) by Nicole Williams – Another one I don’t remember anything about, except I think the virgin in this NA was the hero and not the heroine. Which to this day is still rare to find.
I need to get back into the Iron Fey series…I have one book left in the spinoff series…but I can’t remember what was going on :O Anna was great but I also don’t remember anything about it.

My mum bought me Julie Kagawa’s Iron Fey series but I never got around to reading them. Now I’m both less interested because of the love triangle and more interested because of the kidnapping! I’m also adding Scarlet to my TBR – we had it in the library where I used to work and I incorrectly assumed it was a Red Riding Hood retelling, and I’ve read quite a few of those so didn’t even think to really look at it.
You can see my choices here!

Scarlet is definitely a Robin Hood retelling! And from what I remember it’s pretty awesome. And for the Iron Fey, the love triangle definitely takes precedence over the kidnapping (because I think that is resolved pretty quickly unlike the love triangle) so that may not be a priority for you. 🙂

ahhh Pivot Point has been on my TBR for the longest time, I’m really hyped to pick it up in the future 🙂

And I didn’t remember much to begin with…. 😂😂😂

Making this list made me have the exact same thought: rereading time!! I think I’ll try to carve out some time, either that OR I’ll pick a month with no blog tours to do a mass-reread of these books and others I’m kinda missing.

Yesssss! And there were a few that I didn’t add to this list that I still want to reread so carving out time is a must! 😁

Pivot Point made my list too! I do need to reread it, because book 2 is on my TBR pile. I remember Anna Dressed In Blood pretty well because I read it twice- once for me and then once for book club, and I read the sequel. And I mostly remember the Iron Trial, because I listened to most of that series on audiobook. I want to re-read most of the books on my list too… but yeah, time is hard to come by when there’s so many other unread books on my shelves!

I know!! On one hand I love rereading books but there are so many amazing releases coming out every year! 😊

I often have that trouble with books in a series. Yet another reason why I don’t like books in a series!

I like them but I can agree it’s hard to get through a series where all the books aren’t out yet! 😁

I haven’t started the Iron Fey series, Pivot Point series, or Anna series yet but they have been on my shelf and I had hoped to get into them in the coming year or two. I’m a huge Supernatural fan so hearing Anna reminded you of that…bumped it up on my list lol

It’s about a family that hunts ghosts! So definitely similar to Supernatural lol. 😊

I remember really enjoying Pivot Point too but I can’t really recall why I loved it so much! The problems of being a bookworm!

The sci-fi wasn’t that heavy so I think I adored the characters! I read too much to keep the plots straight in my head 😂

Though I haven’t read them, Kasie’s sci-fi duo is on my TBR-someday-list. I so enjoy her contemporary books, so reading a completely different genre by her intrigues me.

I really liked that sereis when I read it! It’s not much different than her contempoprary one because the sci-fi is really minimal. 😊
